Plan Your BTS Themed USA Tour: Best BTS ARMY Destinations in The USA

Bored seeing people recreating BTS moments/pics on the internet? Why not go for a tour in the USA and relive BTS moments? Every tour has its theme. If you are a BTS ARMY, then plan your USA tour according to your ARMY wishlist.

Approximately 77 million people are expected to visit the USA in 2025. You might be one of them. From mountains to sea to Death Valley, the United States has a diverse and exciting list of destinations to offer you. But you’re a BTS army. So here we are to help you plan your trip.

BTS has been to California and Los Angeles many times, either for work or vacations.

BT21 store: If you want to collect some BT21 merch to keep for life, you must visit the BT21 store in CA.

‘ON’ MV location: Sepulveda Dam, located in the north San Fernando Valley. BTS’s ‘ON’ MV was shot here. Several car commercials and movies (not totally sure) were filmed here. To be honest, there is not much to see as it’s a dry dam. You can take a tour of Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve. They lead nature walks for groups by reservation.

Another ‘ON’ MV location is Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park. It’s less than a 2-hour drive from Sepulveda Dam. Vasquez Rocks is famous for its geology. Alongside sightseeing, you can engage in various activities like hiking and horseback riding.\

“Chicken Noodle Soup” MV location: BTS J-Hope’s “Chicken Noodle Soup” MV was shot in an industrial area in LA. It was a parking lot and the surrounding streets! Another location is a restaurant named ‘The Chicken Shack’. The yellow car in the video is owned by the restaurant! You can enjoy their tasty treat while living your fangirl moment.

“Seven” MV location: “Seven” MV was shot in Universal Studios Los Angeles. This is a popular tourist attraction in LA. You have to buy a ticket to go on a studio tour. It is not guaranteed that you’ll see the “Seven” shooting set, but you’ll see many other iconic movie sets. Who knows, you might be lucky enough to spot the ‘Seven’ shooting spot too.

Jin Super Tuna MV location: Super Tuna was filmed at Dockweiler Beach, LA. It is the best place to learn Hung Ga Chilling. You can also experience an overnight camp.

“Black Swan” MV location: The Los Angeles Theatre, where the filming of “Black Swan” MV took place. This place is not open to the public, but you can take a tour of the theatre by booking an LA Conservancy walking tour. It costs $15.

You’ll be hungry hopping between shooting spots. That’s why Jin recommended his favorite Korean restaurant in LA, CA: AHGASSI GOPCHANG. Try their best seller — the Beef Combo. Make sure to go!

If you’re a BTS fan and also an art enthusiast, a tour of the Getty Center will be comfy enough for you.

The abandoned Lake Dolores Waterpark, where Proof Live was filmed, must be on your list! But make sure to do your research before going there. There can be access restrictions for common people.

If you’re traveling to Houston, make sure to check in at the Rothko Chapel, where RM made a visit. You can recreate RM’s photos in a lot of places there.

Now it’s time for Chicago!

If you are in the mood for some shopping, you should check out J-Hope’s favorite spot — the Dr. Martens store (he left some Hobi moments there!). You can recreate it. Don’t forget to take a walk on the iconic Chicago Riverwalk — Jimin and Hobi have been there.

If you’re a foodie ARMY, then the next recommendation is for you. If you are in the mood for some sweets, grab a banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery or the Brambleberry Crisp ice cream from Jeni’s that Hobi loved! Want to have a dinner date with your loved one? Then book a table in the Signature Room rooftop area where Jungkook and J-Hope had a dinner date in 2019. It’s more on the pricey side, though.

If you’re craving Korean BBQ, then go to Chinatown and enjoy their K-BBQ menu. Jimin has been there. Chinatown has lots of shops with a huge collection of K-pop merch. Make sure to check it out!

Going to Hawaii?

Don’t forget to visit Polynesian Cultural Center, Waikiki Beach, and Haleiwa-  where Bon Voyage was filmed. If you want to learn or just experience surfing, Hawaii is the best place for it. Note it on your list. Check if you packed sunscreen before leaving for Hawaii, or you’ll burn your face just like Junkook did!

Numerous fan projects and BTS fan events are happening all around the year in the States. Join USA-based fan groups so you can get to know about upcoming projects beforehand.

Enjoy fangirling!
