MBTI: It’s a popular personality test. It classifies people into different personality types based on 8 traits. The 8 traits are: Extraversion (E), Introversion (I), Sensing (S), iNtuition (N), Thinking (T), Feeling (F), Judging (J), and Perceiving (P).
A person’s MBTI can change over time as our personality and preferences change.

Before enlisting in the military, BTS members appeared on a YouTube show and took the MBTI test. It was a live test. Out of seven members, 2 of BTS are extroverts, and 5 of them are introverts. Let’s find out which members are on the introvert side and which members are on the extrovert side.

Jin – INTP: Jin, the eldest among the seven, was revealed to be an introvert. INTP personality types are known to be curious and independent thinkers. He’s got a sharp mind and great humor. He outshines everyone with his strong personality wherever he goes.

SUGA – ISTP: Min Yoongi aka SUGA’s MBTI is ISTP. Based on his personality type, we can say he makes decisions based on logical observation, not emotions. Rather than sticking to a plan, he is more of a flexible person. ISTPs are calm people. Fans know well that he’s an introvert. All these personality traits scream “SUGA.” He is a perfect reflection of the ISTP type.

J-Hope – INFP: Just like SUGA and Jin, J-Hope is also an introvert. He makes decisions based on personal values and feelings rather than logic. J-Hope is more focused on future goals and ideas. He is just the opposite of SUGA. He prefers sticking to a plan and gets moody if something goes out of the plan; it affects his mood.

RM – ENFP: Here comes the first extrovert. RM, the leader of the team, is an outgoing person—we can sense it from his never-ending talks and his social media activity. He is here and there, making new friends and all. RM focuses on possibilities and thinks about the big picture just like J-Hope. He makes decisions based on open options rather than following a strict plan. He makes decisions based on values and emotions. RM’s MBTI type tells that he is an excellent storyteller and has a good command over words, which reflects on his and BTS’s songs as he writes songs with deep meaning.

Jimin – ESTP: Surprisingly, Jimin is the second extrovert of the group. Jimin fans will find it more shocking, as Jimin doesn’t seem like someone who likes interacting with people. He is friends with Exo Kai and Shinee Taemin. Jimin shares the same personality traits as SUGA. The only difference is—SUGA is an introvert, but Jimin is an extrovert. Jimin thinks practically and focuses on the present. He relies on facts, not emotions. He is also a flexible person.

V – INFP: V has many friends in the industry and in personal life. V is also known as a social butterfly. But surprisingly, V is an introvert. INFPs are known to prioritize facts over meaning and value. But this is not true in V’s case. He holds strong values and makes decisions based on empathy and his values. V is more of a flexible person rather than a planner. His personality reflects deep empathy and compassion.

Lastly, Jungkook – INTP: Jungkook, the maknae of BTS, has a strong personality. The maknae shares the same personality type as the eldest, Jin. At the time, they were living in the dorm, Jin and Jungkook shared a room with Jin hyung. Maybe staying together influenced their personality. Whatever it is, fans love their similar personality. Jungkook once admitted that his members have a great influence on the development of his personality, since he grew up with them. He is known to be very competent and hard-working.
